Makeup: Pink & Purple Smokey Eye

Yes! I finally made a new tutorial! I used my sister’s laptop to film since hers has a built in webcam. It’s actually okay quality.

I don’t have any pictures of the actual makeup, but I should start doing that before I show the video & list the products.

The brushes that I used are from EcoTools (you can buy this at Target or Ulta) & Sigma. I’ve got a link where you can buy them here. They’re a bit on the pricey side for a whole set, but I can assure you that it’s worth the money. They’re basically the same as MAC brushes, except cheaper. MAC brushes are almost $20 for one brush. For Sigma, you can 12 brushes (might include 13 as a bonus) for $100.

I also wanted to say off topic of makeup that I signed up to join a sorority for college next year! It reminded me of makeup because the sorority’s called Sigma Sigma Sigma, or Tri Sigma. They do a lot of work with kids which made me want to join them in the first place. They do things where they would go play with little kids before they have surgeries just to calm their nerves. It’s a really sweet thing to do. They’re also national and there’s only one in California, where I live.

Makeup: Foundation Routine

First off, I just wanted to say that my foundation routine has changed, but this is quite similar to what I do now.

Before I show the video, I just wanted to tell you guys which products I used & I will most likely do a review on my foundation pretty soon. The video is a voice-over & it was kind of awkward… so my voice sounds a little bit weird. I will be filming a new one with my HD camera soon. I just don’t know when I’ll have time to film or to upload it, since it takes a while.

Makeup: Fading/Ombre Lips

Hello everyone! It’s been about a month since I posted. I am super sorry about that! My desktop is still broken & I have yet to buy a new laptop/desktop, although I’d prefer for it to be a laptop since I’ll be going off to college soon. I’ve been borrowing my sister’s, Dad’s, & my boyfriend’s laptops… but they’re all being used so much that it’s hard for me to snatch one away to blog.

My internet’s also been really slow lately… so I can’t update my Youtube (opens in a new window) with HQ videos. I only have one of those so far, which shows you how to do winged eyeliner. It’s not the best tutorial out there, but it works. I was still experimenting with my camera. I can’t upload HQ videos because it takes FOREVER to upload them. It takes a whole day to upload a 4 minute video.

Here’s the video of how I do my ombre lips. It fades from red to my natural lip color. It might not be the “correct” way of doing it, but this is how I feel most comfortable doing it. I hope this video is helpful!

Grand Opening… Again!

Hey guys! I’m back! My site was suspended for I don’t know how long. I didn’t really update within the past month. When I went to check it again, it said it was suspended… So I decided to change hosts! My host is now Nancy from Colorfulistic. I’m so glad to have found her.

Anyways, I was thinking of doing a giveaway for the grand opening (again), but I didn’t have enough time (or money) to get something. D: I will be doing one in the near future though! So keep checking back. I’m actually in the process of making a makeup collection/storage video. I need to edit it first, then I’ll upload it soon. It’s an updated one… I did one a while back BEFORE it was organized. It was such a mess.

I also have a question for you guys (for my first giveaway), just to help me get a sense of what you guys like. What product would you most like to have? High-end & drugstore brands included.
